International Anthem's Winter Residency

International Anthem is a Chicago-born recording company that produces and promotes some of the most progressive art on this astral plane. Since their first release in 2014, the IARC have pushed back against commodifiable categorization and joined a proud hometown tradition in the process, releasing work from celebrated artists like Makaya McCraven, jaimie branch, Irreversible Entanglements, Ben Lamar Gay, Alabaster dePlume, Carlos Niño, Jeremiah Chiu and Marta Sofia Honer, and the oracle Angel Bat Dawid. With the same capacity that International Anthem is a meaningfully curated arts label, they’re also a hub for consciously uplifting our cultural connections and nurturing artistic expression, making this collaboration an organic gesture of our collective relationships. Label co-founder Scottie McNiece has been a friend of floating since we began, and with artists coming through from throughout the western world this residency absolutely proved to further nourish the artistic bridges between our global interdependent arts communities and turn into one of our closest and longest running collaborations... truly the eternal residency. ~~ Floating is a membership-supported outdoor arts series.
