Darkness Sounding

"Sincere, Outdoorsy, Trippy, a Music Festival that Breathes Los Angeles." -The New York Times Each winter we embark on a new venture, a series of conversations and collaborations, set against the darkest days of the year. In this hibernal period we mark the passage of time with holiday, with ritual, with art, with the simple act of being together. In January, our friends of Wild Up bring us towards a new Darkness Sounding, a five part series exploring the way that sound and music can shape our understanding of the world. We'll convene around mindfulness and nature, to amplify the love and labor of our dearest contemporary composers, all in caring partnership between Wild Up, TreePeople, and Floating. Capacity for each of these meaningful gatherings is limited. Thank you for your support of our interdependent arts ecosystem in Los Angeles and we can't wait to share these weekends together.
